Dinner: light turkey & cheese lunchable :D
Snack: 1 pint of Ben & Jerry's half baked ice cream! OOPS!
Exercise: lazy rest day...
SUNDAY
Breakfast: English Muffin with Peanut Butter
Lunch: Turkey & Cheese Sandwich with hummus, apple
Snack: all natural fruit snacks
Dinner: Kobe's chicken & shrimp with fried rice, noodles & some veggies
Exercise: another (unneeded) lazy rest day
So... Let me give you a recap on my weekend since I was such a blogging slacker! :D (I apologize, although... I do have a life you know)
Friday was a lazy evening where we rented movies as I had posted on Friday, I didn't end up watching Safe House because I was super tired and went to bed right after Madagascar 3. --which was so cute by the way. :D
Saturday was a pretty uneventful day as well. We went and checked out the new Costco in town. To me, it's just like Sam's Club! lol and then we went home and had sandwiches for lunch & took a WAAAAYYY too long nap! We slept from 3 until 6:30! I'm telling you, I should NOT be allowed to nap. Then we went out to my SIL's (Jen) house & hubby got his hair cut & we visited for a bit & went home. Since I took a forever long nap, I was unable to fall asleep until 4 AM!! Yea... thats 4 AM NEW TIME! as in...5 AM old time... Oops. :/
When I woke up for church on Sunday at 8, I was surprisingly not tired. It was kind of nice actually. My other SIL (Sarah) was baptized at church and it was a very emotional service. I definitely shed a few tears. I'm telling you, its the music. :D The music is UHHH-MAZING!! If you don't believe me, check it out yourself, Prairie Heights Community Church at the Fargodome every Sunday at 9:30 and 11:00. They know how to rock! Anyhow... church was over and I restrained myself from taking another nap while Matthew napped. I didn't need a rerun of the night before. BTW... I watched Lion King 2 since I couldn't sleep. --Another great movie. :D (just sayin') My SIL (Sarah) and her kids and hubby came over for a little while to visit that afternoon and then I had to drop Matthew off at his Mom's and Justin left for Minot. Soo... I decided to do a little shopping! Check it ooouuut! I LOVE JCPenney! P.S. Those shorts match perfectly with the other top that I got a couple weeks ago. (as pictured below) I'm pretty sure I have enough workout clothes for life now. ;) JK Oh! and the bottom right pic, I'm showing the super cute band on my new pants. Plus they match my new quarter zip up pictured on the left. :D
Sunday evening I went to Kobe's for a a couple friends' birthday! YUMMINESS! I was the only first timer and it was pretty cool watching them cook it in front of you. They're pretty good at putting on a show! They're talented there. I went grocery shopping on my way home while I was super full so I didn't buy as much, BUT lots and lots of fruits & veggies. I'm gonna really kick it hard this week after all the ice cream & froyo last week. (shame on me) lol
and then went home to sleep! End of story. :D YAY ME! I went to bed early.
Also... have any of you read the Fifty Shades of Grey books?? Well I finished the first one and was quite honestly unsure whether or not I wanted to read the rest. I'm a hopeless romantic and some of the dirtiness in the book really disturbed me. Anyhow... I've been told so many times that the books are soo good! and then I was told that the 2nd and 3rd books aren't as dirty as the first...so I was sucked in and I bought the 2nd book at Walmart last night. May I also mention that it took me like a month to read the first book. I guess I'll let you know what I think. The first book started getting romatic(ish) towards the end... but there were definitely parts where i was like WOAH! T.M.I.!! and had to close the book! Am I the only one completely disturbed??

Dinner: grilled pork chop with sauteed onions & peppers with steamed cauliflower
Snack: 2 snack size kit kats
Calories Consumed: 1412
Exercise: 2.5 mile run
Today was great!! I went for my run and I ran the first mile and a half at my usual slower pace and then I decided I was going to sprint the last mile to see how fast I could do it in. I did it in 7 minutes and 47 seconds. That is like... my fastest time EVER! :D I was so pumped. Too bad I can't run all my miles like that. I'd be awesome! lol
When I got back, I made a super yummy dinner and then decided that I wanted to take a bath. I LOVE baths! If I could take a bath every single day, I would! With bubbles, bath salts and a good book! PERFECTION! If only I could install some jets into my tub!
Now I'm just chillin' and watching some DWTS! Shawn Johnson is still my all time fav! YIPPEE! Hope you all had a splendid weekend and Monday!!
